Project Lead
Make the extraordinary, everlasting — with us.
At Event Concept, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression — not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life.
We’re collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality — all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you’re someone who’s curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that’s got your back, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a Project Lead to join our team. Reporting into our Director of Events, you will bring an in-depth and senior production experience to the team. You will take strategic ownership of key client projects and venue portfolios, leading a team to deliver exceptional work across a broad range of projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive consistent excellence, capitalising on new business opportunities, mentoring and coaching your team, and reporting on key commercial performance. With a strong balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, you’ll play a central role in driving production and delivery excellence and shaping long-term client success.
Who are you?
You have 6+ years’ experience in the events industry, with extensive production and UK venue knowledge, with a focus on London.
You are a true triple threat: this role requires balancing commercial, creative production and project management responsibilities.
You’re a people person. You use your well-honed skills to know exactly what is going on in your portfolio, and you can predict and proactively manage the ever-evolving needs of your clients and your team.
You will be a figurehead and lead from the front in the project management department, overseeing the delivery of some of our largest and most complex projects.
You’re an experienced event professional, you’ve faced most challenges, and you’re not fazed by those you’ve yet to face.
You’re a natural line manager. You know and understand that your success and your team's success are intrinsically linked.
You’re cool, calm and collected. You’re the person people come to for answers, and you leave them feeling confident and focused.
You’re adept at training, mentoring, and upskilling more junior team members. You’re patient and a good teacher.
You have extensive client-facing experience and have managed, and developed multiple large accounts.
You have excellent attention to detail and extensive experience in event production.
You are passionate about creating a wonderful employee experience and actively collaborate with other teams to create harmony and share best practices.
You enjoy pitching for new business and are adept at managing a pitch team including designers, and production. You are experienced in interrogating briefs, providing strategic recommendations, writing tight creative briefs that push boundaries, and pulling together innovative pitch proposals.
You can confidently communicate with stakeholders of all levels, and you don’t leave people wondering what’s going on. Open communication is at the heart of your working style.
You’re happy to share ideas for new initiatives and ways of working cross-departmentally, and equally happy to hear other people’s ideas.
You champion process and lead by example so that others are inspired to follow suit.
You are always professional, leading by example. Colleagues should look up to and be inspired by you.
Sustainability matters to you. We’ve committed to our 2030 Pledge, and we’ll expect you to come on that journey with us.
